This is my first time rebuilding, upon disassemblely and cleaning i noticed that the front plate had failure in two spots. easy question is it worth trying to repair or should i seek a new plate. i am definitely on a budget but would like everything to be copacetic of some sort. its an s4 6-port NA thanks for you time in advance!

 

Don't waste your time trying to repair that, it won't hold, hit up the classifieds here or ebay etc for a replacement thats still within spec

Thanks...it's like you finally open the engine up and everything looks good. Then the last piece of the puzzle is shot. I'll get looking for a good one, if any one sees this and has one pm me!

 

That blows.I just cracked open a six port a week ago with the same problem.
