Freeze Plug Size & Quantity + Coolant Blind Plugs

Hi all,

I went on a bit of a bizarre deep dive into freeze plugs after seeing what I thought was a freeze plug under the center iron intake ports of my S4 NA engine and noticing nearly no other generation of rotary has this plug. I recorded what I saw from my engines as well as image searches on what engine should have what freeze plugs + blind plugs sealing the coolant system. I'm not 100% sure on these, so I'm here to let the internet do what the internet does best, which is to correct me if I'm wrong.

*I can't really seem to get a firm read on this, but there seem to be a number of 12As that also have the 28mm blind plug under the center housing intake ports? I have not see any GSL-SEs with this freeze plug though

Slight tangent, but it looks like the RX8 gets special 20 and 30mm freeze plugs? My best guess is they're slightly undersized (getting wildly inconsistent information on the actual sizes of the OEM freeze plugs) compared to the freeze plugs in previous engines in order to make sure they actually knock loose if the engine experiences freezing coolant.

the freeze plug under the port is going to the EGR passage, in the S4 NA and the 1980 12A

when the part number starts with 99, the size is in the number, 9930-63-000, i would expect to be a 30mm, with bolts numbers like this would be JIS standard, not sure about a freeze plug
99 - hardware
3006 - freeze plug
30 - size in mm

if it was a nut/bolt/screw and has a regular part number it would not be JIS standard, i would imagine a freeze plug would be the same,. although i don't know for sure.
