i got a 13b twin turbo out of a cosmo, i been told that its the same engine out of a 3rd gen, im going to put this into my 1st gen 7, the motor is get work up, i would like to know what would need out of a 3 gen to make this work in way of sensors etc thats if the stuff will work on this engine?.. as i dont have anything from the cosmo just the motor and a loom that has been chopped up? and what aftermaket ecu goes best with this engine?? what i need to know when i ask the dealers about the ecu??? as this is going into my 1 gen!!

 

They're not really the same engine...

Best to go to the 1st-gen section and ask. There's at least one completed 13B-RE swap (AJC13B's car) and a couple more in progress. The 13B-RE is a popular swap engine because it's strong like the REW engine yet it costs about 2/3rds as much.

As for computer, your best bet is to throw the twin turbos away (they will fit the chassis, but why bother?) and get a single and a Haltech.
