FC starting issues

Okay so my car is an 87 and when I turn my key to on/accessory the dash lights wont come on preventing my car from starting (if i keep taking the key out and trying again the dash lights eventually will turn on and i can start the car) . I replaced my ignition switch and it seemed to have fixed it until i started it and warmed it up and then tried to start the car again 20 minutes later and no dash lights. For some reason if i pull the egi fuse and turn the key the dash lights come on and i can start the car. has anyone ever had an issue like this? or where i should look into next to solve it?

sounds like your main relay has crapped itself.

you need to check the voltage from the b/w wires with the key on and also in the crank position, should be at least 10v.

on the fender well beside the brake booster:
