Question FC S5 engine harness on a S4 engine

Hi

i have a Rx7 Fc whit a s4 engine in the car. but since the engine harness was so damage the previous owner bought a brand new engine harness to a S5

the car is an 1986 model whit turbo

so my question is how do i connect the crank angle sensor to the new engine harness?

in the picture you can see the connector on the engien. but with the new wiring that's not such a contact on it

here is the new engine harness whiteout the connector

the s5 engine harness is going to be different to hook up.
It has the Electronic OMP,and the S4 computer doesn't know what that is.(the S4 engine has a mechanical Oil Metering pump).
You may want to look at changing some parts.
Get an S4 Engine harness.
Using either S4 Injectors or using the S5 injectors and connectors on the S4 harness.
Deleting the S5 OMP(use a block off plate) and run Premix( 2 stroke oil in gas..1 ounce per gallon).
This is a start.anyways.

This is way to much work... I would just buy another s4 harness. Mix matching s4 and s5 is bad news. The s5 also has a hi and low range tps, along with the elec omp, a different afm/plug in and the plug-ins to the ecu are different.... So this is a s5 harness re-pinned to fit a s4 ecu?

was in the garage yesterday and took out the wiring to the motor for a little more closely look. I then found a note with a part number on it (N332-18-051K) and when I searched this up I found out that it comes from the 87-88 turbo. Atkins rotary said that this wire comes whiteout the cas connector.
so I wonder if it's better to get new wiring harness to the engine whit CAS connector?

Ok, so you pulled out the engine harness and it says 332? Which is s4 t2. But the body harness has the CAS plug...check the other harness and see what's going on there.

yes that's correct. (N332-18-051K) i check the old wire harness and the connector was one the same place as the last picture . also took the tape off the new harness too and see if I found some wires that were not in use but found no one that match the same colour as the old harness

I think your looking at the wrong harness. It's hard to understand your typing too. But the CAS plug in is on a entirely different harness. It's on the harness on the right side of the car if your looking from the front. Is that the harness you replaced?

The CAS wiring is found in the Emission harness. So, the plugs which look identical but differ in color that connect to the Emission Solenoids is also part of the Emission harness.

In the pic u can see the CAS plugged in and running to the body harness on right side of car if your at the front. Its a s4 car also. So, unless someone has pulled out that body harness. It should be there...
