Cool Engine stand adaper holes?

Hey all!

So I have been dying to receive my engine stand and engine adapter in the mail, stand came early yesterday instead of today and the adapter came in this morning which was really odd.

Anyways I am certainly not complaining about getting stuff early, however after a quick inspection before I got ready for work I was pleasantly surprised to find that the adapter comes with hardware to mount to the stand, I was worrying about this all night actually.

The issue arises when you look at the holes to connect to the engine itself, one of the holes is a little smaller than the others. I test fit the hardware through all the holes and they all fit through except this one hole. I haven't looked too close at my engine yet so I'm not sure. I was hoping someone could calm my nerves while I'm at work and let me know if I got something I need to refab to work or if it's by design for a smaller bolt on the engine.

I'm not worried since I've been seeing that some people bolt up their engines with 2 bolts on their stand directly, the one smaller hole is one of the middle ones. Regardless I think I'd be fine bolting up the 3 and calling it a day but like I mentioned I am curious and also a little neurotic as some of my friends say when it comes to stuff like this lol.

Thank you all in advance!

I feel so stupid, I just checked the website like I should have before posting this and you can almost clearly see that the one hole is significantly smaller, like enough to see in a photo lol.

What does this lead to? Also what bolts do you all use to connect your engines up to the stand?

Did you get one of these or are you trying to get a generic engine stand mounted?

This is the one I received today

After looking at the Pineapple racing product, it appears this bolt hole isn't even used at all? As the pineapple racing mount doesn't have the hole at all?

*edit* Posted info for a Pineapple adapter and not the Atkins you got

Should look something like this

Did your kit come with the hardware?

Have you tried reaching out to the wonderful people at Pineapple Atkins?

As I had mentioned, I received the Atkins kit. Thankfully it did come with hardware and I forgot to mention I did get it on, but I got it on the way I've seen most others do it, which is using the engine stand arms to adapt to the atkins adapter instead of directly to the engine stand plate. I already got the motor disassembled and everything so I am actually going to try and put it directly on the base plate when I get home, however I do believe the hardware that came with it is very long, I think that is also why I thought to use the arms to connect everything. Looking at some of the pics I'm thinking I should just be able to use the stand hardware and call it a day. I'm sure since I had it mounted on the arms, that was why it was so difficult to swivel it around sometimes.
