Engine dies under load

I have a s4 6 port with mikuni carb and 85 distributor and coils. the engine is in its simplest form because it's an engine swap engine in a dunebuggy.

the engine idles great and revs at idle without a problem, the problem occurs when I put the engine under load. When I release the clutch the car revs down and tries to die. if I try to accommodate for it dying by giving more fuel as letting out the clutch it still stutters.

I just built this engine and im in the testing stages so any suggestions are helpful, I just timed it to Leading tdc using a timing light on spark plug L1.
