Eccentric Shaft damage

I have an eccentric shaft out of a 12a. It's in really good condition, but on the end of the shaft (Pulley end) there is about 4 scratches, the worst one is about a half an inch long and maybe a cm deep, give or take. This might be a stupid question but is it still usuable and is there a way to fill them in? Thanks.
