draw through 12a turbo
hi i was thinking of turboing my 12a but with a old school touch and was just woundering roughly how mutch of a power gain i could achive by chosing this setup. any info is good info. thanks

it will provide decent power. It will make your 0-60 be around 6.5 or 7.2 versus the stock 9.9 or something pitiful. I have the set up on my car currently. I cannot figure out whats wrong with it. I cannot tune it properly and don't have the time or money to fool with it. I will sell you my turbo kit,oil lines and all just shoot me a pm if your interested.

Depends on the motor. Mileage? How was it treated for its current mileage? Compression #'s?
Personally, I wouldn't turbo a stock 12a block unless you plan on rebuilding and keeping the boost setup after you toss the seals.

fwiw/fyi a stock jdm 12A turbo (efi) runs 6psi with a 7.5:1 compression rotor, not sure off hand what carbed 12A ratio is but im sure its higher.. be careful how much air u jam into a stock engine, from what i have read people have pumped in 10psi with out instant or catastrophic failure but your results will obviously vary. probably a good idea to use premix as well
