Yea I kinda figured. How do you blow a coolant seal on a relatively fresh Mazda reman?

Look ay the remans for the series 1 rx-8s, they were junk cause the people remaning them didn't get anything in spec. If you have warranty use it, if not, rebuild it, but be forewarned, rotor housings may be eljunko

Great. Next question then would be;

Are there any reputable rebuilders near Pittsburgh, PA where I can just trailer the car to have them do it? I don't have the time, energy, or knowledge.

I think the RX7 Store in Columbus is only a few hours away but I've never heard any feedback (good or bad) about their work.

Any other options?

KDR near allentown, Defined Autoworks in OH. Defined is closer, about a 3 hour drive.

Yeah, I think KDR is called SPEED 1 now but I've heard good things about it.
Defined Autoworks, on the other hand, I was told by a knowledgeable friend to avoid.

Maybe I'll make some calls next week.

Thank you for the help.

That is correct. KDR changed to Speed1 several years ago, Dave and his crew are REALLY good and Dave will take care of his customers to a fault.

I don't have any experience with Defined (not saying anything bad about them) but I know that S1 is on point. I *used* to be a PFS fan... Now I'll happily drive the 4 hours to Speed1 (as opposed to under an hour to PFS) to get anything I can't do myself taken care of.
