Can you decipher this???
Can you decipher this??? I just bought this car from an older lady by me. It is a '94 R-2 with a 100k miles. It runs perfect except it smokes for the first 5 minutes of drving. It smells like oil. If I drive the car within a couple of hours, it does not smoke. But if it sits longer (3 hours or more) then it smokes for 5 min. again. So I had a guy do a compression test and this (see picture) was the result. Can you decipher if I have a bad engine?
I think it is the turbos. Possibly dumping oil on prolonged sitting. Anyone agree? Maybe oil seals? What about Lucas oil treatment, will it stop the smoking???
Thanks, Rob

Don't listen to three rotor rocket, he has no idea what he's talking about... He doesn't even own a 7.
The smoke could be a lot of things, what color is it?

it might be a good idea to get an oil change and burn up
the old gas allmost to empty and then fill with higher octane fuel. The better you treat your car the better it will treat you,I promise that!

I had the same problem. When my engine was going out (and turbo's also), It would smoke upon startup and if it just sat warming up it would smoke like a freight train. However, if you drove it would slighty fade away. I was later informed by Bryan at BNR when my turbo's were with him to get rebuilt that my turbo seals were absolutely trashed.

Man, even I know what it isn't and I don't even own a third gen.
What color is the smoke, if its blue it could be what xstacy7 said. I would check that out first. if you get that taken care of and it still smokes then it could ba a bigger problem.
