Where to start... Always good to start with a Carfax report. But you can't always go by that.

well since your gettin a 3rd gen, aka the FD. the "FD" can also stand for "financial disaster." be prepared for many sleepless nights, thoughts of leaking seals, crappy cut turbo's, cracked rotor housings, and being chock full of msg because your living off top ramen to pay for the car. but like any drug addict, i can't stop abusin my drug.....well other than that, make sure to get a compression test on the motor, check that its boosting properly (i bought my car and found i had a couple boost lines missing...), carfax would be a good thing, and uh, as close to stock would be your best bet. if u wanna go more in depth, go to the "faq" section for 3rd gens, go to rob's website and it tells u wut to look for when buyin a used 3rd gen. good luck.
