I've seen other threads or sites saying you can
fit a S5 throttle body getting fit onto a S4 motor.

Can it work vice versa? There is a 89 rx
that a guy says has a fucked throttle
body and I have plenty of S4 tb's sitting
around so would this temporarily work or no?

 

Quick answer...No.
The S5 runs a double TPS, while the S4 runs a single TPS.
Trying to retrofit either way is a PITA.

Grr...are the TPS' the same as on a S5?
Cause I'm looking into purchasing one
but he says the throttle body is fucked
so I assume it was the tps that was gone.

Any clue?
