Bigger Engine
I realize that the rotary is sectional heres my question I have two 13b's is there any way to build them together to have a quadruple lobe engine i understand alot of fabrication would need to be done .

4 rotor or maybe 3 rotor. You'll probably need the 3 rotor intermediate plates.
Some people have estimated over 25k to build an engine like this.
I have only seen one 4 rotor and it was at Sevenstock 6 in a red FD.
Sorry to say this but if you have to ask then don't.
Also to help answer another Q.
A 3 rotor will got you 10k at the minimun to put into a FC.

i remeber someone posting a vid of a white fd from japan with a 4-rotor it sounded badass. more power to you if you want to take it on as a project. just dont count on getting it in a car anytim soon and i hope you have engineering level design and fabrication skills. good luck tho it would be realy cool to see the approach to making one.

Have the two engines totally seperate, but join them together via a seperate shaft between the front plate, and the rear plate
It'll be huge, but you'll have your 4-rotor engine

Or if you were to use a custom frame and shell to put them in, you could always use two engines, two gearbox's (with linked shafts) and have split diferentials at the rear - one engine powering each rear wheel
well, its different!!!

I think the 4-rotor FD you're talking about is from Scoot. I've still got the vid and it sounds like some mutant bike engine. The other one can be found here Granny's and includes an excellent tech writeup on how they did it/how to do your own.
Also, Blue TII recently posted a couple of threads on an Australian 4-rotor PP FC. Talk about badass!
Remember that a 4-rotor will be LONG and HEAVY! You won't fit that in any RX7 engine bay without EXTENSIVE modifications.

or get the entire drivetrain from a 4WD car, and lob a rotary engine on it
Remove the radiator, and cut a hole into the bonnet slightly smaller then the radiator. Fit the radiator into the bonnet. That'll give you plenty of room

Scoot 4-Rotor FD (pictures, specs, videos)
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...hreadid=261572
Here's another site that's around, but pretty slow progress and not much to see.
www.4rotor.com
Jim Downing has been doing 4 rotors for years I think.
Jeff Bruce (new zealand, or is it australia?) makes custom eccentric shafts. He makes the shafts for many top drag racers. A 2 or 3pc shaft is another option.
That's all the info I got.
