better than the ATF trick
My 7 hadn't cranked in almost 4 months. I'd tried 2-stroke oil with a puffing agent, ATF and other various friction modifiers and puffing agents. Finally I tried transmission reconditioner. Transmission doctor in a bottle type crap. It comes with a puffing agent to make the apex seals swell, a reconditioner to make the seals retain their flexibility and seal, and a varnish and carbon remover tp clean out the rotor housing and the ports. It was designed for trannys, but it just happens to be great for restoring compression in a rotory motor. I put a bottle of transmedic in a spray bottle and shot it into the open spark plug holes on both the leading and trailing sides of the housing. I let it sit overnight, and the next day, it fired right up. I had tried ATF with no where near the results.
ATF=no compression
ATF conditioner= runs like new
It feels like it has more power than ever. Just thought I'd let people know. I would guess my results were typical, but maybe it was just a selective case of luck. If anyone else tries this, let me know what you think.

I do not think it is physicly possible for apex seals to swell......But as long as it works who caes what it does?
PS I will keep this in mind, might come in handy!
