take your pissing match to PM's. i'm with BDC on the subject though that you called him on, this is the internet and if we took everyone's word as golden then we would be where we were 10 years ago, doing the same lame ****.

i have also done plenty of experiments on my personal vehicle to prove or disprove what has been said, because i don't believe something until i see it or do it and possibly refine it to the point that it DOES work. ive broken or disassembled my own personal engine more times than i have had customer engines fail in the last 10 years, that is NOT a comparison of quality.

did we have E85 at pumps 5, 8, 10 years ago? no. we had to buy 55gallon drums of alcohol or drive miles and miles for av gas or pay insane prices for C16. this is not yesterday..

even the turbos capable of the horsepower levels we are talking about now were at a STARTING price range of $2500+ just for the turbo alone. now you can buy a turbo that can do it for less than $1000. remember also that turbos are not bulletproof, you still may wind up with a $2500 paperweight along with your $2k+ engine paperweight. now we have cheaper better turbos producing better spool and power for less cost and better seals for our engines that cut down on failures, again this is not 5-10 years ago.

Still doesn't explain the botched port job in the pic posted.

You could have saved your money and just gone with h2o and gotten the same performance with pump gas. It seems to have been working pre world war 2. It also worked great for BMW in 1986 in F1 running 102 oct petrol running 5.5bar (80psi)
