Balancing counterweight without rotors?
If i change the flywheel and install a auto-counterweight (CW), can i balance only the CW with the front CW? Or do i need the rotors etc?
Might be a stupid question, but i want to learn

I read this again, OP, there is no difference between the rotors in an automatic vs the ones in a manual. If that's what your asking. And the front counterweights are the same as well. In a manual engine, the counterweight is built into the flywheel which is why you need to attach a automatic counterweight to the lightweight flywheel.

Everything matches. But i have to balance the new CW with the rest of the components. The stock front CW is balanced (from the factory) for the rotors, so that is sorted already. What im asking is if i can just balance the rear CW with the front CW by balacing it on a axel or the excentric shaft only.
