Bad Experience using Realmazdaparts

Has anyone ordered parts from realmazdaparts recently? I placed an online order on 4/27 for a bunch of miscellaneous parts (hoses, o-rings, gaskets, bolts, etc) and as of today, my order status is still "on order".

Every time I call, it goes straight to voicemail. I've left several voice messages with no response. I've sent multiple emails only to get one response saying there were several parts that needed to come from their Canada warehouse for my order to complete. That was a week ago. I have gotten no more updates from them since.

I'm a patient person. But this feels a little ridiculous. The lack of response is totally unprofessional for a business. It makes me regret ordering from them.

online convenience.

OP, I ordered a complete coolant hose kit from jim ellis mazda a few months back. They had to order a hose from mazda canada as well. It took a couple weeks, if I recall but they were atleast responsive and up front about needing to get it from there. Contacted me the next morning after placing the order online.

Ray Crowe

Ray has my vote. He is the best when it comes to ordering oem stuff. He is also a real rotary guy like the rest of us Rotards. Brap on brothers my 2 cents.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'm somewhat of a Mazda newbie, having recently purchased my FD. Lesson learned! I'm ordering from Ray Crowe next time. Hopefully my parts will be in sooner rather than later. It's such a shame that these parts would take this long since I didn't order anything significant.

Yes. Send Ray an email and bingo.... part numbers, pricing, advice, and it's on its way.

I just checked my order status on the website this morning and it now says "ready to ship". So hopefully that means I'll get my parts soon!

I have ordered from University Mazda DBA realmazdaparts. They are based out of New Mexico. My experience has been very positive. I will say that buying for a SA22C with a ViN that does is not comparable with their catalog has led me to call and confirm that "yes" these are the parts I need. I will admit that by the time I get may parts has been an average go 2-3 weeks, as the have parts shipped from different locations to their shop and then shipped to me. I am not endorsing, but sharing that I have had 3 very positive experience with University Mazda. this was the person who helped me with my first order in January. katelyn@abqvwmazda.com maybe she can help.

^"I'm a patient person". Hmm, you may want to self-reflect a bit on this comment.

And welcome to the forum! While I do feel a *little* of your anguish of having to wait for parts, my dealings with University Volkswagen Mazda (online portal --> realmazdaparts.com) have led me to trust that they're a legit outfit/dealership w VERY good prices. Moreover, if you give their Parts/Service Dept. a call to ask for a discount code, you just may save 10% on shipping.

I recently placed two separate orders with them within 3-4 hrs. I decided to splurge and get a new radiator shroud after initially purchasing '09 RX8 fans & motors. The fans/motors were not readily available to ship (Oh noes, I'z been had!), But the shroud shipped the next day wout issue. So I'll *patiently* wait for the other items to be retrieved elsewhere within Mazda OEM circles wout worrying that I made a poor choice.

To the OP & others, here are three good resources for ordering new OEM parts (in no particular order):

1. Ray Crowe; GREAT forum resource, especially when offering random *specials* for overstocked items. Super responsive, and he'll let you know the pricing, availability, and any potential wait time for said parts. Definite go-to source...but does not take PayPal so that may be a hindrance for some.
2. Tasca Parts (tascaparts.com); very nice online portal for viewing the applicable components of the vehicle. Some of the best prices around (think Walmart). Never had a bad experience w them.
3. RealMazdaParts; see above order-related comments. Possibly even better prices than Tasca it seems. Ordering tip: Call the Univ. Volkswagen Mazda Parts Dept. for direct contact if you have questions about an order; 505-761-1900. And don't forget to ask about any current discount codes. #10offship

I just wanted to give an update. I received my parts after 3 weeks. Turns out, the emails they sent me with updates were going to my spam folder.

I subsequently placed another order with them and received it in less than a week.
