What's your experience using Himni Motor Mount?

Whats your experience using the Himni Motor mounts? Any vibration?

i run the street Himni mounts on my car and don't think there is any significant vibration. unlike a piston engine the rotary doesn't put out much...

when i road raced a piston engine solid motor mount car a quarter of my time was spent checking tightness of all the fasteners.

when i switched to racing rotaries w solid mounts i found i had a lot of time on my hands as nothing ever loosened.

if you do buy them and i recommend them, i suggest you helicoil a thread into the steel mount, buy a couple of 2.75 inch by 3/8 bolts. throw the pucks into the hole, set the motor in which will be easy without the stupid rubber mounts, and then just thread the bolt up thru the subframe, puck and into the mount. no nut to screw with...

Save your penny's, buy 4 rubber hockey pucks drill a hole in the middle and put 2 on each side if too low shim with big washers. That's what I run, stiff and almost no vibration.

About two years on mine; stock was torn, so if anything, less NVH haha.

Honestly, stay away from Himni. I placed in order with them two days later I tried to confirm that it had been shipped, and I couldn't get through to anyone. There website constantly redirected me and said "Page not found", Called several times with no answer. Left several messages, then finally I get through to someone, and she was very nice on the phone, and after I get off the phone with her, I get an email from Himni telling me that I'm a liar and that they canceled my order because I didn't meet the minimum qualifications for a customer of theirs. Even though I was the one that put a complaint with PayPal against them.

Honestly, I'll stick with companies like Pettit, Mazdatrix, and Banzai. I've dealt with them several times, and never have been disrespected like I have with Himni, and their customer service is awesome.

Huh, that sucks to hear. I had zero issues. What is this 'meet the minimum qualifications for a customer of theirs'?

Business seems pretty simple to me. I have money, you have a product; exchange.

What happened was, when I couldn't reach them, I filed a dispute with PayPal. When they finally answered my calls they asked me to withdraw my dispute and they would refund me my money and cancel my order. Then they refunded my money and told paypal that the reason they where refunding my money was that I didn't meet the minimum qualifications to be a customer of theirs, and in their email to me, they played it off like I was the Problem not them, and that they decided that they didn't want my business.

Basically trying to take all the blame off of me. Then they also started calling me a Liar in the Email, like I said I'll never do business with them again, and I advise everyone to keep clear from them.

They were extremely helpful to me and I just spoke with them for the first time last week. The shipping confirmation took a few days, but im sure they are extremely busy. Can't expect a package to make it out the day you order.

It has been a few years but I seem to remember some sort of shipping delay when I ordered Himni mounts as well. I think the mounts did not arrive in what I thought to be a reasonable time after my card being charged, so I sent an email asking for a tracking number... again it's been a while so I don't remember how many days. After I sent the email, the mounts arrived in a timeframe that made me suspect they were put in the mail after I asked about the tracking number... I suppose all's well that ends well?

The mounts fit well, install instructions were good. I purchased the softest ones available and there is more vibration than I would like around 1500 RPM but they are super smooth at idle or cruise.

I love my Himni mounts, perfect for a street car IMO.

I didn't have any issues with their service either. But that's just my experience.

Everyone has their own tolerance for noise/vibration/harshness. I just removed a set for a customer the other day. The car vibrated so badly he thought something was broken Went with a new set of updated oem mounts.

I felt they were a little harsh when I first put them in, but they settled in nicely and I really like them.

Himni sucks as a business. I don't know about their mounts since I only had theirs on my car for about 2 hours.

I've since moved to xcessive mounts.

my passenger side himni mount melted from the heat from my a-spec single turbo. There's probably enough material for it to still work but it looks like a mess of melted plastic right now

Sigh.... I don't understand why anyone would buy from some no name company like himni when you have quality vendors where you can buy this stuff from and stand behind their parts and work...

IRP, Banzai, Pettit - take your pick and support the companies that support rotary powered cars over the long haul.

Please explain how Himni (The no name company???) does not support rotary? They sell BRAND name parts just like any of the other vendors you mentioned and offer their badge products as well. IMO, I prefer having a variety of parts to choose from rather then the default X company..

I like the IRP mounts, but melted one. At least it stayed together though unlike some others which just kind of crumbled on me. Love dealing with IRP though.
