I just got my car a month ago and have had no problems with it until last night. I was driving down the road, slowed down to turn and it just died. started it back up and it ran horribly, it wont rev up past 4000 r's and it will barely move without dying. it has a new fuel pump/filter/relay, new air filter, and new plugs. i havent started diagnosing it yet thought id see if anyone had any suggestions before i started ripping it apart.

 

sounds like oil metering pump

 

does it idle good?
if it idles good but you cant give it gas
THEN it is metering oil pump... NOT oil metering pump

 

OMP what does that stand for Oil Metering Pump or metering oil pump hmmm let me think about that
