88' rx7doesnt start

hey, i have a 1988 mazda rx7 limited edition, 13b rotary fuel injection, auto, 128,300 miles. now the problem is that it doesnt start and last week it started perfectly. i had to press the gas halfway down for it to start, now no matter how far you press it down it doesnt start. any suggestions?

does it crank you probably flooded the motor

did you take emisions out..

if so.. pull out your ecu fuse crank it for about 10 seconds and then put your ecu fuse in and crank it if that doesn't start it right up
theres a really long process with taking out the spark plugs and **** like that

never push down your gas pedal to get an rx7 started though
you'll flood the motor

if none of this **** works pop start it

all of you guys... yourselves a favor and search the second gen section for starting problems and flooding problems... also read the faq's at the top of the 2nd gen sections... it 's an eye opener... a plethora of knowledge... a cornucopia of information

i know this sounds silly but sometimes the floormat likes to slip under the clutch unnoticed and i thought something was wrong i tried doing the push start thing thinking the starter was done and it didnt start so i was like WTF??? then my dad came and was like hey dumbass you have to push the clutch ALLLLL the way to the FLOOR and if the floormat gets in the way it causes a big issue..so yea..try that meaby it will be much more simple than you think. or meaby it is just the started..try the floor mat thing if not take out the starter and take it to a local shop that runs tests for free on starters (ex: pep boys, auto advance etc...) send me a message if it works..
