so looks like im pulling the rail to find the said obstruction...i wonder what it is...or a bad fuel pressure regulator?

 

I believe the FPR is the last thing in line so you might want to start w/that. I gather you could remove that item and place a hose from what you removed it from then place that hose in a jug and see if the fuel flows through the system into the jug by jumpering the fuel check connector.

 

yeah i just pulled the supply line and it was ok, return line off the fuel rail, nothing. i was gonna go buy a vacuum tester and apply vacuum to the regulator and see if i tried opening it with that. if it doesnt do anything if i do supply vacuum its the regulator then...correct?

 

Sounds about right, but you'll find out one way or the other.

 

so i applied vacuum to the fuel pressure regulator, and turned the key on with the jumper attatched, no fuel out of the return. the regulator doesnt seem to like to stay anywhere between 28-37 psi and it just bleeds off to about 20-15 and then dies out....doesnt wanna stay.
