1989 FC Rx7 NO IGNTION

Good Evening yal, I got my first RX7 1989 Fc and I’m psyched, but Today after driving it to work it wouldn’t start back up, the battery was dead so I jumped it and it turned on but after I turned it off again I got 0 power to the ignition however accessories and everything still works just fine, I’m not sure what to do and I need to get my car home (OMP has failed and stored a limp mode in the Ecu so does go into limp mode almost immediately when I begin driving, still searching for a fix for this)

Congratulations on your first rx7!
I daily drove my current fc and had a very similar issue. Mine end up being a poorly tightened starter ground. It caused similar issues and others too.

I would start with a battery test and an alternator load test, followed by work on your grounds.
A parasitic drain test might be in order as well.
As far as the OMP goes. This is posted here a lot. Do a search and you will probably find a path forward. I would park the car until the OMP situation is sorted. If you are forced to drive the car, use some premix just in case.
Then again, I am just some dude on the Internet. Feel free to ignore my advice.

I’m not sure if this is the correct way to respond as I’m new to the site but thank you brother!!

Sorry about my poor attempt at humor.

Places like Autozone can do your alternator and battery test. Best wishes!
