Does the power fc work in an automatic?

Will the power fc work in an automatic? What can it over run? Im asking because my omp might be bad and the car is running in safe mode, so I am thinking of mixing the oil with fuel if I can get it to come out of safemode.

The PFC will take you out of limp mode since your stock ecu is what triggers you to be in "limp mode".
