1/2 bridge port & brake problems
Hi there every one
Iv just got my car back and iv hed 1/2 bridge port with a single turbo but iam haveing problems with my brakes when the engine is just started when cold there seems to be no power in the braking system and once its warmed up it is beter but not as good as it was befor when engine was standed the other thing, it is hard to start up, is this normal for engines with 1/2 bridge ports or is there somthing wrong if so can some one help me.
Regards Erdin

With a bridgeport you have much more port overlap than you did before. This will result in less vacuum in the engine at low rpms or cruising. Obviously under boost you don't have a vacuum either. For some of the more extreme porting styles a vacuum canister with a one way valve is used to help with this problem. Speaking of one way valves, did you somehow remove the factory one that is in line to the brake booster when the engine was out? This will give you problems as well.
