Cool FDAuto and 2026

Just wanted to take a moment to thank all the members of rx7club for another great year and share our forecast for 2026. We are and have been preparing for a very aggressive push into parts. We will be restocking our website along with a full overhaul of the website to make it simpler to navigate as a web store. We will introduce more parts and kits that will be among the best options available. Our top 3 chassis will be the focus: FD, FC and Z32. Ease of install, QUALITY, simplicity in design, ready availability and sensible pricing are the targets. We will stick to our commitment of not taking your money for things we do not have and can't tell you when we will have it.

Our youtube channel will see more attention since we value the importance of transparency. Interviews, event coverage, more how to's, buyers guides, daily shop vlogs, exposing industry secrets and so on. Our love for this community and desire to add something meaningful will be in full practice for the new year and are grateful for everyone who gives us the consideration and opportunity. We are also very grateful for those of you here that have given us the opportunity to serve you both near and far and are looking forward to everyone else yet to come. We can finish or fix your project no matter what condition its in....... Especially if its a casualty of your old shops "sudden" demise.

The grand quest for the new year is to release our V mount kit. We have been making them unique for each FD we put them on but the core components are always the same. Trying to make a standardized version comes with a lot of challenges and considerations. In addition to that, we have a LOooOOoONG list of FDA versions of parts and kits that have been on the market. One of our big missions for 2026 is attempting to fill the holes in parts availably with things are simply not being offered by anyone but are needed. Best case scenario after release, others will make their own versions and improve on the design...... although we intend to set the bar really high

We will be making massive progress towards our goals in the new year with the continued support of this community. We will continue to bring you quality parts, quality work/builds and support into the new year and for as long as we are able. Thank you all for everything as we go into our 7th year at Full Detail Automotive

Thank you for continuing to monitor this site and offer helpful advice to newbie owners and experienced owners alike.

Here's to your efforts to be further rewarded in 2026.

Although your shop may seem distant to many owners, it may well worth everyone's while to consider your services when key work is required.

Loving your YouTube content lately. Looking forward to you diving into that deeper in the future.

You've made some comments in the videos that you're not going to get into too much detail on X or Y because there are "other videos out there" that cover it, but I find very few get into the details of how something was done and even fewer about WHY something was done. You do a great job because so few content creators have experience working on more than their singular vehicle. When you, as a shop owner, need to do something efficiently, reliably, and with a personal aversion to "jank", there is a whole different perspective than 98% of the FD content on YouTube.

And V-Mount?!? That seems very... ambitious to do at a high quality bar. But I was about to pull a trigger on a Greddy unit in a few weeks, and am very, VERY intrigued.

thank you guys for the feedback.

always looking to improve the content on the youtube channel. in the early days the goal was to be EXTRA in depth and explain everything. while that took place to a great effect, it was boring as hell lol. we cut out all the fluff and just stuck to the high points. now that we have a proper format, i will try to integrate a deeper explanation without being overly technical.

the core of any technical profession is not being able to physically do the work, its the understanding of WHAT you are doing and WHY while also being able to justify and explain your actions. a monkey can teach another monkey to swing a hammer without ever having to explain. this is my frustration with the current environment of "technicians" and why i get so annoyed. its all just "give me the answer and don't explain"

as for the v mount, we have been making the same kit since 2019 with the first "version" of it being done on my own car in 2015. its a really simple and wildly effective set up. my idea for the production version exists only in my mind and has been consistently refined over the past 10 years. i feel the finished product will represent everything we stand for.

Thanks for continuing to support the platform and best wishes for your 2026 plans.

For those on the fence, I price shopped FDAuto for fuel system refresh this year. Communication was easy, the prices were lower than other online black friday deals, the parts were all top quality brands (Radium, Fuelab, etc), and shipping was fast.
