Lightbulb Street Port - PICS - Meaning???

I did a few searches and couldnt find any good infos.

SO what does it mean exactly, and some before and after pics??

It's like porting the heads and changing the cam on a V8 but the rotary of course, doesn't actually have either of those things. You're removing metal from ports of the engine block (...and possibly, preferrably, of the intake manifold, as well...) to streetport it. This increases airflow but it ALSO acts like you're adding a big cam if you extend the tip of the port...you get more "duration", more time spent "with the intake and exhaust valves" open gulping in air. I don't have pics, so I'm leaving that to the graphics nuts I know are on our website who keep these kinds of pics always close on hand.

ya that thread is way crazy.

porting template, ive seen some for like 60.00, doesnt someone have on i can just print out and draw on the case?

A porting template only gives you the port shape. Pay the $60 because the maker of the template has gone through a lot of trouble (and engines!) to get those port timings.

However 90% of port work does not involve the face of the port.
