I took a line off one of the many un used vacuum ports to a check valve, to the top of a see through fuel filter mounted above the oil filler (highest point) and from the bottom of the filter down to the highest vent in the oil system (the nipple right below the filler cap on TII neck). Very simple and clean install.

It sloshes oil into the filter when cornering insane (like when it makes oil level sender go off), but it drains back down and the filter keeps you from sucking in oil vapor.

It is on a little CF and alum stand I made for it- looks neat; I will post pics when I put my turbo back on next week...
Please do!

So I got my turbo back in my car and got some pics of the oil/air seperator used in putting my oil pan under vacuum.

The forum eats half my pics as I upload them (doesn't complete the post and then I can't re-post the pics because it says the pics are already in a thread). I had to go back for more pics and I will post the half that made it to the forum

This shows the height of the seperator. The line putting the oil pan under vacuum is the highest nipple on the filler neck and the seperator is above that so less oil sloshes into it in mad cornering and it can drain back down when it does.

This shows the alum. bracket and the CF stand that holds the seperator. The line of the top has a checkvalve and then into a vacuum nipple on the intake manifold right next to it.

Zoomed out a bit you can see where the vacuum line is on the manifold and well, the whole "system".

The other side...

This stopped the smoking the BNR Stage was causing. I haven't taken apart my intake manifold to see if I am sucking in any oil- I hope not, it was all polished up in there... Ian

OK, update time,

I took my intake system off the engine w/ help of FC-chan and ScrapFC. Actually we stripped the "block" pretty good over some cofee, "Options" drift video and way too much inuendo.

After about 9,000 miles the manifold runners are still ~90% shiny and smooth inside from my port/polish, but there is a golden coloration from fuel varnishing.

There was however a bit of foamy/gassy oil residue in the bottom of the front 2ndary engine port (lowest point).

I think I was pulling in a bit of oil/vapor from the oil seperator vacuum hose and it was running against the manifold wall where the vacuum nipple is down into this front 2ndary port.

I was VERY surprised how clean the manifold interiors were!

One thing is I am going to pin the manifolds so assembly is faster (match marks suck) and leave the gasket out between the LIM and UIM and use only a little Hylomar. There was a little build up around the gasket as I think it was absorbing and then bleading out the fuel.

I even took it apart after a cold start/ cold shut down. Pretty clean in there still. ScrapFC has some pics I'm sure I can talk him into putting up once he is feeling better.
