I have seen talk on the boards about a metal front cover gasket for 13BREW FD. Does anyone know if they really exist and where to get one? Thaks, Matt

 

Yes they exist. Mazda should carry them.

The gasket to the engine front cover ( over the oil pump and chain ect ) . The old style is paper , and prone to leak .

 

Metal front cover Gasket - N390-10-502 - $21.30 through MazdaComp, not sure if the dealerships carry it
