I'm out $750 for 99 spec 5 spoke wheels. I'll be curious to see if the can ships out before the end of the month. If we don't hear anything my wife has told me we're going to put paypal on notice that we may have a problem.

 

This container has taken some time. But I and. 3 other people not on this list have also bought things and being shipped on this container.

That being said, I have known Ramy for many many years and he has very intense job. I'm sure he will come on here to chime in. He also still have $1000 in my money on an auction that didn't go through and I'm pretty confident it will pan out at the end.

 

Thanks Herb that helps. I've been watching too much 60 Minutes 20/20 etc and I can just see myself trying to convince the host that "Yes, after 8 months I DID still believe I was going to get my wheels"

I just get nervous that we don't have any update when he said the can had to be out in December and today is the 29th.

 

To reiterate what Phil stated: I've known of Ramy for quite some time, done business with him as well and know his free time is also very valuable. He also has $350 of since I lost a bid too. This is not an easy task to work out the logistics of a shipping container, that's for damn sure. And take heed, the container's transit will take some time and I would not expect anything for the next 6 months, at least. But in short, you will get your goodies, it will just take some time.

I too am waiting on Ramy, I've ordered Spirit R seats and a few other things and he came through no problem in the past. For what its worth, I have $1100 on an A-Spec bumper along with all emails detailing the purchase. Just posting to sub as I havent logged on in a few months.

 

I'll see if I can get in touch with Ramy.. Last time I chatted with him was just before thanksgiving.

 

Hey guys i got in touch with Ramy, his father passed near the end of the year and he had to put shipping the container on hold but is shooting for the end of the month to get it on its way. He said he would update the thread soon.

Hey guys,

I'm very sorry for the late reply and the delayed response. As 20B 3rd Gen had mentioned, my father passed away overseas, so I had to travel suddenly. Aside from the significant emotional toll this has taken on me, his passing overseas (vs. in the States) presented its own unique set of problems I've been dealing with practically daily for several weeks now.

I know this isn't anyone's problem but mine, so my apologies for the delay. I'm currently contacting importers Stateside to get the shipment ready for acceptance BEFORE we ship from Japan, because every Customs broker is pretty much PROMISING me that it WILL be subject to being detained & inspected by Customs. So if I can get all our ducks in a row before we ship, hopefully we can streamline the process as quickly as possible, and get the parts into everyone's hands ASAP.

Again, sorry for the delay, but I'll keep you updated as best as I can.

FYI, I'm trying to get this thing closed in the next 2 weeks. Not waiting on anything else but the container to actually be fully stocked/arranged and closed. Then it's finalizing the shipping details, and off we go.

I know it's tough man. I lost my dad 2 years ago and it still hurts emotionally everyday. I was the one that found him. It'll get easier over time. I wish the best to you. I'm still planning on getting exhaust through you. You sell too notch stuff!

I paid for my wheels a year and a half ago, this is getting insane. Can you please ship them by other means or guarantee a ship date and send me some current photos of my wheels please. If not refund my payment please.

I like Ramy and all.. and known him for years.. But at this point, it is getting little ridiculous...

Ramy, You know you are my boy, and I've known you for ages.. But please understand.. some of the parts I special ordered from certain company, I rushed because you told me container will leave in couple of week... which now is close to a year ago. It makes me look bad when I rush a well known Japanese builder and now I haven't shown the part.. especially when I rushed him to make them and he delivered on time for me because you rush me.

Meanwhile, I had 2-3 friends who already brought containers back to USA from Japan... Don't take this personally, but do understand that for some of us, this is kind of important. Maybe not to you, but to some of us it is when certain projects in mind depend on these parts.

Again, I know you are busy with your job etc., And it might be more important than some of us's jobs, but do understand some of us do appreciate more updates and on time delivery.

That being said, I did text chat with Ramy back in April 17th.. He stated that container is being loaded onto the ship. That's all I heard.

Also, I been getting messages from others asking me about this container... Maybe because I been posting here.. I've probably spent well over 10 hours answering phone calls, emails, PM's regarding this over the past year. A time, I shouldn't of been spending trying to figure out what the hell is going on.

For everyone else, I just got word that one of my parts is still a month out (special order). So I'm still in a holding pattern for now

Just checked in. We're waiting on 1 more special order part of mine to be completed and come in, then I'm gonna close the doors and get the container on the move.

Sorry guys. Some last minute SUPER custom parts are holding everything up. Once they come in, we're DONE and getting this thing SHIPPED.
