Exclamation Probably *LAST* FDNewbie Imports Incoming Parts Container! Join while you can!

As most of you know/have noticed, I've been tryin to make my way out of the JDM Parts scene (too time consuming, dying market, bad economy, poor exchange rate, etc). And I never really looked to do this as a full-time gig; more of a side-passion for me since I was primarily using it to obtain the rare parts I wanted for MY car.

In any case, I got probably my LAST large order (to Japan) going in at the end of this month, cuz there's a bunch of large parts I need to finish up MY FD. These parts will be coming by container (ie ocean freight), so it will take MONTHS. They will likely get caught up on Customs (like last time), then need to be transported to me for breakdown and inventory. Ie, THIS WILL BE A LONG AND SLOW PROCESS.

Having said that, if anyone is NOT in *any* hurry whatsoever, and would like to place a last-minute order to take advantage of container shipping (the cheapest way for large parts, and sometimes the ONLY way available for large and/or heavy parts), feel free to jump in now. Cuz once my parts (which are special order, so I anticipate it taking a month for them to be ready) are ready, that's all she wrote.

This would be IDEAL for stuff like bumpers, hoods, spoilers, diffusers, etc.

Again, this is NOT a move for me to get back into business. I'm only interested in liquidating what I already have (and there's a TON of parts I have sitting in Japan, coming in on this shipment). I'm already helping a few friends with some of their parts requests, who know that although my stuff is SLOW, I *ALWAYS* come through in the end. And many of them suggested I leave this open to anyone else who wants to take advantage of the situation as well.

The deadline to place an order will likely be the end of the month. I know it's not a lot of time, but again, I didn't plan on taking any additional orders. Just figured I'd offer to help while the opportunity exists.

Thanks,
~Ramy

EDIT: To clarify, I'm NOT looking to open up again for business. So I'm not taking requests for searching for rare parts. If you have a parts order that I can easily place with a vendor, perfect. Otherwise, you'd have to locate the part yourself and ask me to purchase it for you, and ship it over for you. I just don't have the time anymore to do the endless hours of searching for parts. Sorry guys.

Second Edit: I'M NOW READY AND AVAILABLE TO TAKE YAHOO JAPAN AUCTIONS ORDERS!!!

Please understand I am NOT taking REQUESTS (ie, I'm not SEARCHING for parts). You gotta do the searching on your own, find the exact auction you would like to win, and provide me with the link.

Kindly keep in mind THIS THREAD is for the large container inquiries ONLY. For the Yahoo Japan Auctions (details, questions, etc), please see THIS thread: https://www.rx7club.com/fdnewbie-imp...orders-1020440

Me lol. Everything's gonna hafta go via Fedex Ground/DHL/Greyhound/whatever method is cheapest for ya guys to get the parts from me to you. And at that point, we can always consolidate shipping like we've done in previous large orders if need be (one big shipment to NJ/NY, one big shipment to TX, etc).

Is this order only for *rare* parts or could you get more common stuff for me?
I.E.- RHD Center Tunnel Cover and shifter bezel.
RHD both door panels

Phil, ASAP. You know how grouchy ppl get when stuff takes a while lol. I don't want one order holding up everything for a while.

acain817, this is for stuff I can get easily (even if it's special order, but it's readily available). Not trying to go back into business and scour the market for hard-to-find used parts. Sorry.

I don't think I wanna ship any motors or anything that would be declared as hazardous goods (gasoline) on the container. Changes my declaration, handling costs, and Customs situation significantly. Sorry.

If you REALLY want one, I'd get a few, to offset the additional inspection & hazmat cost, and that'll be worthwhile for both of us.

i'll see how many people may be interested. mainly boils down to final cost for the blocks. getting pretty difficult to find them imported any longer.

I hear ya. That's the best way to offset the cost per block; get several at once.

And when would you need full payment?

Payment is required up front for all parts. We'll deal with shipping & handling costs when the container gets here, and we're ready to ship the parts out.

I'm looking for this, as well as the two bolts that attach it to the car, in addition I'd love a set of license plate screws to match.

Let me know if anyone has something.

I just copy/pasta'd my WTB thread from the 3rd gen classifieds.

The part described should be very easy to locate in Japan and very light and easy to ship.

I have no rush to receive it, so your large container would be fine for me.

Please let me know if this works.

Thanks!

Most are available in fiberglass or CF. And there's probably 20 to choose from. Kinda hard to provide you with all the options... They're all gonna run between $1K - $2K for original hoods, depending on material (fiberglass being cheaper, and dry carbon being the most expensive).
