Thumbs up GB: SakeBomb Garage Stainless Steel Brake Line Set

SakeBomb Garage in conjunction with FDNewbie Imports, is pleased to Offer:
Our very own (affordable) DOT approved, Stainless Steel, Clear Sheathed, Brake Line Kit!

DESCRIPTION:
Get the most out of your brake system by replacing your worn out rubber lines. Rubber lines (especially old ones) expand outward during braking causing an increase in required pedal travel, and a spongy feel (the last thing anyone wants when trying to quickly modulate brakes). As most of you know, the solution is replacing the flexible rubber lines with SS wrapped teflon lines. Many aftermarket brake line kits use a BARE SS wrap which allows dirt particles become embedded and degrade the line. Our lines come sheathed with a clear durable protective coating to ensure the longevity of this brake line kit... not to mention keep them looking clean

HIGHLIGHTS:
  • OEM Fit
  • DOT approved
  • Clear Coated/Sheathed
  • Cost significantly less than the competition
  • Use the highest quality fittings and lines
  • Comes with new Banjo bolts and crush washers
  • All lines are pressure tested before being shipped to ensure absolute safety.

About us: As some of you may know, SakeBomb Garage is small... very small. Where some companies are forced to cut corners on the product to shave costs, being small allows us the luxury to keep prices lower than the competition while still retaining the highest build quality. When I ordered a set of Goodridge lines for my 20b FD, I was surprized to find a lack of a clear sheath/coating to prevent dirt from deteriorating the lines, and also very minimal material for strain relief between the fittings and the hose. All of this at a price that was anything but cheap... so we decided to build our own. Dan and I both love them on our cars so we decided to make them available to the FD community

Here is a comparison shot of SakeBomb Garage V.S. Goodridge. We don't have fancy red caps or name tags, but I think you can see why we feel our kit is superior!

GB Pricing:Standard pricing for these lines will be $105. This is significantly lower than most of the competition while using much higher quality components, and are clear coated to boot! While they are already priced as low as possible we want to do better. If we can reach at least 15 sets, we can get the price down to $95 each! 25 sets and we can the price down to $85!! Shipping will be a flat rate of $7 for each kit. Yes, we are happy to combine shipping with any of our other products

Reserve Your Spot! As the GB price depends on the amount of orders, we will deal with processing orders/collecting money at the CLOSE of the GB. PLEASE DO NOT
ADD YOUR NAME TO THE GB LIST IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO PURCHASE LINES! This is not only for our sake, but the rest of the people in the GB. We need accurate numbers... otherwise, we can't reach the discounted prices listed above. Again, please only add your name if you intend to purchase.

Thank you!
Heath and Dan

HobbeZ: The length of the GB doesnt matter to us, we can end it when we reach either of the break points 15 or 25... that's up to you guys. Ultimately it will depend on, demand but I was hoping to not have it drag on more than a month or so.

If its slow we will end it at the first break point... if things look like they are picking up we can try to make the next one. After 25 the price doesnt go down, but if there are even more people signing up we might do something fun like a raffle for free shipping

spr258: We don't have a website at the moment. At this point 100% of our spare time is going into product development, but we hope to have one up in the future.

FDSeoul: This IS the highrate stuff LOL!

Well, we want to get it down to $85!! That's the goal but I realize it's going slowly. If we can get to 10 I'll personally buy the next 5 sets so we can make the cutoff for $95. Same with the next step @ $85... if we make it to 20 I'll personally buy enough to put us over the top. Honestly, we make close to NOTHING off these kits.... we just wanted to get high quality and affordable race lines out there to the FD community (and our name along with them!). The other stuff is overpriced and low quality!! I bought goodridge lines, they sucked, so Dan and I decided to make these.

Basically, I want to answer your question by saying... I wont hold you to anyting. If it falls apart then you're welcome to them at 105 (thats our standard price) but lets not even go there
