Okay, looks like a good number of you are interested in the new damper. So if you haven't already posted or pmed me go ahead and say which of the new damper you need, or post that you want a refund and I'll take care of it ASAP.

Thanks
Jason

I hope the CF isn't just a sticker wrapped around the chrome..

It's probably wrapped. Very few parts are actually genuine CF in the US. Most are a superficial wrap (eg. the HKS CF Ti Exhaust is S/S wrapped in CF)

If it is wrapped in real CF I will change my mind and take a set for a CF hood. If it is a simple sticker that is made to look like CF I will have to pass..

Hmm found a picture of the real thing. Still don't know if it is real or a sticker but it looks pretty good. Wish we could get that strut bar for the FD.

SEMA calls the version for CF hoods "1/2 PSI"

Looks like real CF to me! I'm definately back in for a 1/2 pressure Carbon Fiber set.

Ramy,

Do I get a discount for doing all this leg work?

Ramy mentioned to me some of the ebay versions were claimed to be NRG but were missing the logo and appeared to be knock-offs, others didn't carry all the options. If you go through Ramy you know what you're getting. But at the same time if you're comfortable dealing with the other sellers just say the word and you will have your money.

The way I read it was chrome is the base color, and only the casing has an option b/w silver and CF. But then again, what do I know. I'm illiterate...

Hense why some of us said chrome/silver - as in the base color is chrome and we want the casing to be silver.
