I have a set of Lexan FC windows in my basement, still with the protective film on them.
Though they are flat pieces and will need to be bolted in or heated to bend into original shape.

I don't need them...

Well I'm in no hurry with the window, for now all I need to do is remove them anyways. I can take my time to look for either a lexan solution or pick up the manual setup.. I prefer manual to automatic anyways.. Any chance you have a passenger side mirror in that attic of yours? For some reason I have a manual driver side mirror but an automatic driver side I wanne rip out all the electrics from the doors if I have half a chance... I'm on a diet, so is my car!
Did i mention we have a Dogo Argentino (argentijnse dog) to guard the Cosmo?

As far as stripping everything out, thats what i did with my 12A Bridgeport trackcar, in total from 1030Kg empty it is now weighing 775Kg including myself

i must confess the're not many stock parts left......

Waaw, it's unbelievable how much useless parts a car has to carry along, isn't it?
300kg of not needed parts, no wonder we're using that much fuel

Damn you Mireck,

Now you've made me fall in love with Cosmo's!!!! This is totally crazy, from picture's I've always had a bit of a dull impression of Cosmo's and my only attraction to them really was the 3 rotor engine, but now having seen one for real, MAN THAT CAR IS SO COOOL!!!

The lines totally surprised me, its much bigger, much wider, much more luxurious then I ever expected, and I just LOVE the lines! It's definately on the top of my "cars I want to own one day list". To be exact, when its time to retire the hachi as a dialy driver in a couple of years, I wouldn't be surprised if I deside to import one aswell, especially after finding out it's not really that hard and costly to do..

But for now, I lack the cash.....

Unfortunately though, the real reason for making the trip turned out to be for not. Mirecks impact wrench had given out this week and mine was to weak and so we didn't have the right tools to take the rear end appart to free the parts I needed... awell I was planning to do some body work on the hachi this weekend and the next 3 weekends I have other plans so I guess the Mazda will have to wait for a few weeks to recieve its new parts... Plenty of other things to do

Yes Bas, I know just the feeling there. I saw a cosmo in Germany some years ago (must be about 5 years now, I think 2001) for the first time, and was impressed by it too. On pictures it looks like "just another car", but in real life it's a lot nicer. I was amazed by the sound too. That car was a stock 3 rotor version, and when it accelerated it sounded very strange. Nothing like our loud pipes, but very smooth, almost like a turbine whining, but without the noise. It must be a really comfy daily driver, if you can afford the fuel

Well the sound is a real funny thing...

Mireck was going on about how silent it was and then he started it up, and the car was pretty noisy (well not unlike any other car I mean, just not my definition of silent) and I was like, its not _that_ silent, and he went like, patience Bas, it's cold, when its still cold or when you hit the trottle all four exhaust pipes are open, but when its warm and you're cruising or iding its running on 2 exhaust pipes.

About a minute later two pipes are closed off and the noice just disapeared... The car is SO silent.. Its really is unbelievable how little noice the 3 rotor makes and how stable that engine runs.. There isn't a piston engine in the world that can beat that engine, atleast in my eyes.

Its a real shame I've only been able to hear her idle, can't wait until she's on plates and I can take the passenger seat
