Kim told me he had a little scare again with cold tires. Kim, I think you better bring back the sig too and wait until summer before you do any more High speed sliding!!

I know it wasn't you, you like drifting way too much
Especially when the road is smaller then it should be, and you end up next to it
Don't get angry at me Higgi, it's just your own fault: you shouldn't have put those pics on the forum, now we are going to abuse them all the time

Hey Kim, watch out! Higgi is very mighty... He can throw you out! And he makes very nice pulleys we all want. So be carefull, or we might turn against you!
Then again, I loved your sig, so I guess I'll stick to you...

Kim,

Do a search on 6-port actuators in the 2nd gen forum. I know some guys have theirs set up to open via a rpm-actuated switch. I've also read of this being used on the VDI valve for 89-91 NA's.

And I like the drift sig. Can't you just make it smaller somehow?

Well, if you can't use your old sig, just use a smaller version of one of Higgi's pics from the intersection

...with the same caption!

Seriously, though, I thought you wouldn't even be allowed to post a sig that's too big, as in it would be denied before you could ever use it. I think maybe the mod was jealous that he couldn't get a tricycle to drift.

I have no idea howe to make it smaller, and i dont really understand why someone took it down cus it was remote-linked
And thanks ive been thinking about what to look for, and"Actuators" seem to work there is even a entire thread about it in the archive

Can someone post a pic or link to a pic of one of the euro 6-port systems? The first I ever heard about this was like last week or something, when some guy from the States asked Bart to sell his.

Don't take my word on this one, I'm only slowly discovering FC's, always been (still am) a 1st gen guy. But as far as I know the US ones use rotating sleeves powered by a pressure line from the exhaust. The sleeves rotate under the pressure control from the exhaust gas. That's how I understand. The Euro ones are butterflies, and are controled by air. Now, what I don't now right now (haven't got the manual right here) is if that is vaccuum from the plenum, or pressure from the airpump. If it's the first, it'll be really easy for Kim to make them work. If it's the second (airpump) it might be a bit more difficult. Cause then you need a powersource. You could make them electrical controled I guess, but it sounds like a lot of fiddling to me.
Unfortunatly, I can not post a pic right now. there has been one posted before in the 1st gen section, but I don't think it'll be easy to find it back.

You'll loose some low rpm torque there, but gain high rpm HP. (butterflies disturbe high RPM flow) So it's up to you. I'd throw them out, seal the holes from the vac. valve, and port the intake manifold a bit.

**EDIT**I kow it doesnt make a big difference, and my purpose with this is to eliminate some vaccum hoses and valves

Ive been thinking about the manifold porting and TB mod for a while and come to the conclusion that its about time to call my mom, I need to borrow her hyundai pony for a few days, since the seven is my daily beater/ only car

If I'd be closer to you we could swap the TB and intake. But now that'd be a bit stupid (postage) Otherway you could modify mine and then give me yours once finished. You wouldn't need to drive a Pony then :-)
If you do the mods let me know what happens, cause I'll have to take care for my brothers FC too ;-)
