Yeah, so...

Just got an '86 GXL, need to know what kind of ECU I should get. Not looking to run 12's or anything (as if that's possible), I just want a faster revving engine...

Why don't you simply install a lightened flywheel?

If you really want an ECU, then I recommend checking with your local RX-7 speed shops, and see what kind of deal they will give you along with an installation and tuning package.
