Go outside, find your car, pop your hood, and look at it.

Maybe I can get some help...

"Dave from kdr told me to warm up car...once fully warm..shut off and turn key back on..got to etc..go to sensor/swith and look at vta1 and vta2..then u want to loosen the tps sensor on the throttle body..and turn it slightly till both voltage readings are below 1.0 volt.."

my question is what does Dave mean by loosening the tps sensor and turn it?...Isnt there only 2 bolts holding it in....Can someone help me out on what he is saying above...

thanks

The TPS is a spring loaded varible resitor unit. Two screws or bolts (depending on year) hold it to the throttle body. When they are loosen, the TPS can be rotated either direction which changes the voltge output.

If you have one of the luckier ones, the fasteners are bolt 7 mm hex head and phillips screwdriver.

If your is only screw driver, then you wil have to remove the throttle body and replace the fasteners.
