###WHAT SHOULD I DO?###ecu question pfc vs ???
If I sold my pfc and purchased the haltech...would it be easier to find someone to help me dyno tune it? ...I ask because xs is the only place locally that can tune my untuned ecu.
I recently purchased the pfc from the store. It came not tuned to my specs as I had requested. The idle lopes erratically.
I need to get it dyno tuned as it runs way way way too rich and the power suffers tremendously because of this. I also dont want to have any problems caused by improper tuning so I do not drive the car hard at this time.
XS is the only local company that can tune my ecu. they are too busy with their move to get my car on the dyno. I do not have time to wait til mid summer to get them to do the work...nor would I have purchased the headache from them and the store had I known it would be like this.
Im considering selling my pfc and getting the haltech...Id rather have a tuned car for the summer and am not happy with the service that I have recieved in regards to this ecu.
should I swap?
my mod list is fairly thick and Id like to have the best setup possible...Id definitely like to have it as soon as possible.

jason,
There are a few shops in SoCal that can tune the Haltech. But if you want to stick with the PFC, send it to SR and have them tune it, and drive it around til XS settles back in, or use Datalogit.

What was their reason for it running poorly after the tuning?
Here are some Apexi dealers near you. I don't know if they can help with the PFC, but it may be worth a try:

Also, you can try the Haltech dealers. Maybe they can tune the PFC? If not, I'm sure that they will sell you an E6K.

they dont know why it runs worse. they want me to bring it back. Im afraid to deal with them now.
I looked and the injectors were still pumping out at 100 percent...which is way too much fuel Id guess.
