Unfortunately, there isn't much demand for 9-year old engine management systems. The EMS industry changes very rapidly, much like personal computers, and even the new Link units aren't exactly considered leading technology. I would say it's worth about $100.

thanks Evil,

I knew it wasn't worth much, but being its new just thought I'd see what it bring in... Its actually Kevin "ASP" Wyum's and its been in the shop for along time.. He tossed me the box and said "sell this" haaaaaaaa!

I tell ya what! I have a good TII motor (long block) and Link ecu...I just might build something out an old MR2......

thanks evil!

Yeah, it would make a great toy to play with.

Down here in New Zealand (where Link ECUs are made) the model you have is quite common. It is refered to as an LEM athough it will be one of the first versions and have very old software. Now the nice thing is Link still offers the LEM as its most basic ECU and can upgrade old LEMs to the latest software. With the latest software you can tune using PCLink (windows tuning software) or the handheld tuning module that you have. If it was off a 20B you will need to get it reconfigured to run anything else anyway.

Anyway, I tune Links all the time and have one in my FD. They are very easy to understand and tune one you get the hang of it. Like any ECU they have their quirks, but not a problem once you figure them out. If you want to get it reconfigured for something let me know and I'll give you more information.
