Time for a FC yet? I have no idea!!

Sorry guys, I have read so many different threads on this matter from the past. I cant really figure this out and I have other things to spend the $ on first (suspension, paint, etc.) Although this is priority to me if needed. I am trying to build a nice little runner, but a VERY solid one. I am new to the forums, but have been lurking for years. Is it or is it not time for the FC. I figured best to ask around on here.

Mods.
DP
Hiflow Cat
RB cat back
cold air intake
Air pump eliminated.
stock fuel pump and injectors.
stock but blue printed pettit rebuild twins 3k miles
rats nest gone, aluminum rad and ast
big brakes
all silicone hoses
pettit rebuilt motor about 3k miles
She is only set at 6 on the boost right now and pulling nice. To me she is pulling like a perfect condition stock (from what I recall it feeling ) I will be putting her back to the 10 8 10 after the IC upgrade.

Pettit intercooler is to be installed

Goal is 300-325 ish to the wheels of possible

is it time for a FC? I am ready to pull the trigger on an Apexi, I just wanted to stop in and ask some advice before. I am giving serious thought to an AFR gauge. Should I just leave it up to the guys at pettit to decide? I am just scared to run lean, even with keeping the boost down. I am paranoid I guess.
I ran a na fc to 198k 1986
I had an 86 TII that I just started to mod and sold all for flight school. This is going back many many years. I just never got that involved in the turbos yo really know wth is going on.
