Main set up for Rx-7 4 or 2 cylinders and why
This question might sound simple but...........
Well here it is, in the Main setup page of the haltech software Why
do I set the cylinders to 4 as suggested in several maps that I
have seen for the RX-7 3er generation
I only have two rotors in my engine. Can I put 2 instead of 4. and if
not why not?
Someone please
thanks.

A 4-stroke 4-cylinder engine only fires 2 pistons per revolution, just like your 2-rotor fires 2 rotors per revolution. This is why most aftermarket EMS units are set to "4-cylinder" mode for a 2-rotor engine.
