Hooking up Aircon to a Haltech on an FC3S (S4/5)
Hooking up Aircon to a Haltech on an FC3S (S4/5)
Ok, The Air Conditioning hookup is confusing me.
If you look at the Factory Manual for the RX-7 '88 on page 50-67..

(warning 9 megs!)
There are two lines from the Aircon that ended up at the factory ECU. One is
the relay that activates the clutch (The relay is AC-01), and the other is
the line from the Refrigerant pressure switch.
Does the PWM output from the Haltech go to the clutch relay, and the AC
request (Aux In on E6K) come from the Refrigerant Pressure Switch?
How does the AC switch on the Logicon tie into all this? When I ground the
clutch relay line to the ecu, the revs drop regardless of the AC-Switch on
the logicon. I would prefer the AC switch still controlling things (like
factory). If I am wrong, PLEASE correct me!
ANY help would be appreciated, only 3 months till warm weather here!
Cheers,
Josh
