greddy emanage
hello,
i tried to do the search thing but didn't really come up with anything about the e manage. i was wondering if anyone is running this setup and how well it works for them. also, is it worth the time or should i go with a safc2 or the rteck?
thanks

Well Im needing to know to. I can get a killer deal one one from a guy I work with its brand new with lots of the extra harnesses AND SENSORS. There is only one emanage model right? Is there any special rotary add on parts to get? How does the rotary ignition maps work? I understand that that the fuel cut fefencer in the emanage does not work with the 87-88 TII fc. Is that right? Does it work well with rx7s? Ill be watching to see who replies with you. Hopefully this will spark some interest.

yes only one unit. you change some rotary dials for the car you want to put it on.
It is a common miata piggyback, you can find a load of info over at miataturbo.net. By the way, you can MAKE, yes, MAKE a lot of the expensive sensors that greddy wants to sell you. The above forums can show you how. It's a good unit, but weigh the pros and cons, and make sure you have a support group. may not be a good one for rx's

But as for support theres not that many people using it. If you do get it and have some question shot me a pm ill try to help

emanage
Take a look at the RXClub forums - there is a LOT of stuff there. While it is obviously slanted toward RX8's and turbo installs, there is also a lot of general emange stuff. And, a lot of the knowledgeble guys have worked on RX7's, too.
For emanage software goto http://www.mohdparts.com/emanage/index.html - a very good emange supplier and good emanage site - all the software can be downloaded from there.
Yahoo has an emanage forum, but I haven't spent much time there: http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/emanage
