Are you sure?

How do you set it up? Or do I have to find someone to do it?

It just plugs in inbetween your stock wiring harness and your stock ECU. Call an HKS dealer just to be sure.

Cool thanks!

How do you program it? Or does it learn buy itself to what upgrades you have?

You don't program it, but there is a **** inside that you adjust for your mods: 0 is stock and 9 is for alot of mods. Check out the HKS modification charts on the rx7club.com site and you'll see what I mean.

Which area would the HKS modification charts be at? I tried to do a search for it and found no matches.

Talking

Ok I found it.

Now according to this HKS chart it doesnt go to 9 stages. Just 3.

So you adjust the **** and BOOM you are done huh?

That sounds easy enough. What about boost control? I guess I would have to buy a boost controller.

This is kind of a weird ECU. Usually you either program it or send someone to program it. But never just dial a **** for programming.

Do I have to call HKS for air/fuel maps? Or is this badboy do it for me when I start the engine?

Just want to mention that so far you have been a great help thanks!

Adjusting the **** is all you need to do. The F-CON already has all of its own fuel maps. The **** is for fine tuning. It's plug and play. It's not the greatest ECU out there, but it definitely works very well.

Cool, since I am keeping my twin turbo setup, I didnt see a need to buy the Power FC is I am not going to single turbo.

So as long as the FCON is for an FD3S it is all plug -in-play huh?

Do you have to attach any pressure sensors or anything? If you do how do you do that? I would imagine you just plug in the harness of the FCON to the stock ecu for piggyback.

You have to hook up a pressure sensor under the hood. Just use a t-fitting and tee into the line that goes to your stock pressure sensor. If you don't get instructions with it you can e-mail me at jfrederi@juno.com, and I'll send some to you.
