no amount of electronics can overcome the real problem. You cannot make more boost, or have it come in quicker, unless you change your turbo and or your manifold. its got nothing to do with what electronics you have bleeding the wastegate line.

You can fix the problem, its called a WASTEGATE CREEP.
Not letting the wastegate see pressure until the very last end(until the boost you require)will make it spool faster and come in sooner.
The original setup makes the wastegate creep(opening slowly)until the desired boost is achived and then opened up fully when boost reached, thats standard with the hose from diaphram going to the commpressor housing nipple.I have done this and it works.
The original question,i wouldnt know,i only have tried with a bleed type ball valve,i do have a haltech and now i do have a haltech boost solenoid but will have to try it out...

I'm sorry my statement was unclear. I don't have a problem with how boost comes in. The problem is that it sits at the control pressure (5.5psi) untill the wastegate becomes ineffective then it runs up to 10-12psi (boost creep) at that point the car runs like a raped ape. What I need is 10psi as soon as the turbo is able to produce it. I don't want to wait till it overruns the wastegate. Will a aftermaket boost controler or the Haltech be better for this?

So from what I can gather is that it will boost to 5.5 until you get creep up to 10-12? Any boost controller will let you run 10-12 all the time but I would still port it to make it reliable. The Haltech or a different one will work just dandy.
