I didn't weld them, I don't have a tig. The guy who taught Jeff from Fullrace how to weld did those. It's amazing what that guy knows and can do.

What's the point of moving the tie rod mount in? Doesn't that mess with your ackerman?

depending on where u move it, it may... but ackerman isn't always that good for drifting.. well the amount from the factory anyway.. but that's all personal preference.

after months of waiting i finally got my modified hubs from turbo 2 rotor. they look great and ill post pics when i get them on my car. i suggest everyone get a set. jtp is rocking these as well.

the long wait wasnt t2r's fault and i was not in a hurry to get them so dont let that scare you away from doing business. great workmanship and a great deal

******* awesome. Still more to be had in the angle department, wheels hit bad, need spacers.

true.

i haven't had a chance to throw them on though, since the car JUST got out of paint.. i'll be putting them on when i get back from michigan along with a couple other little things i need to do to the green car. then i'll get it aligned and test em out.

These should be a real good setup for those who like drift AND grip, since the original pickup point is retained it would just be a matter of switching out the through bolt with the taper bolt and re-alignment.

when in action i'll get some pics, and report back.

btw, thanks again Scott!

the whole point of making that much angle is so you CAN hold it there... adding angle allows you to add more throttle, since you can slow the car with angle, this allows you to add throttle to create SMOKETOWN!!!

Maybe I'm just not used to them yet, but I'm going to redo my old ones and change the mounting point angle for the tie rod and start running them there maxxis tires, or maybe some 595rs.

I am worried more about hooking up and losing the drift than blasting into the wall backwards

Yeah,

The biggest thing id think about is that youve never driven a drift car before.

I wouldnt worry about angle until you even drive.

No they are different, the taper is ever so fractionally larger on the FD, but enough that you cannot interchange the two.

lol gotta love those china men wannabeezzz that knock stuff off here in the states about the whole what and measurements i have no idea. i used to tig weld for Neukin Motor development so the welding part isnt my issue its the geometry of it that puts me in fail mode.

the only person who i talk to that drifts subarus is running fc spindles lol so it is no help. then there is a guy in russia that did his sti spindles but i cant get anything out of him. Obviously there are more people that have done it i just cant find jack right now.

pretty much just need more angle and lots more caster and camber
