ha...lol...you guys are totally funny...lol...im really enjoying this, thanks for all your input guys
but im sorry i'll have to disagree with ya...there's definately a science behind motion sickness...most people dont get it...im one of the unfortunate ones who do get sick.

as far as the diein' thing...i was just mentioning a way that i personally combat being nervous. no big deal though, i'm just curious to see if other drifters get car sick too.

thanks to all your replies guys for sure...this a good little thread.!

the only time i thought i was going to be sick was my first few competitions (stressful as hell) but after the first few comps i stopped getting nervous and learned how too have fun

but as far as smoking or drinking before driving (track or street) there is no way in hell not only are you putting your life on the line but also others. i know too many that have died because they did or because someone else did

I never experienced motion sickness while drifting or even riding shotgun. To the guy who posted this why not try a ride along in someone else's car to see how the dynamics of weight transfer in a car feels to you.

Idk I compare the rush of driving in a drift car to a roller coaster u control, that's one of the fun things about the sport. I also get this panic sensation that the car is out of control sometimes but it just leads to a bigger rush lol. Drifting is as fun and aggressive as what it looks, sounds, smells n feels like. To do it in my choice favorite car also adds to the excitement.

I dont condone people do this by any means but i'm in the same boat as this guy.

A couple beers (not to the point of "legally intoxicated" but just "good" you know?) and maybe a bowl and i'm on ******* fire. I go all serious face and i'm controlling the car....poorly but i'm not all over the place clenched-jawed and walleyed spinning out and slipping pedals.

Find a means to relax and center your chi!

I have friends that are not only terrified of driving but are afraid to sit in my car. They know i skid about and they also know i love to attack corners with a bit of emotion. Anywho, they've all been in some bad wrecks where they weren't the ones driving and a bit of trauma is there. Just dont give up. If you are really adamant about it you can overcome your issues.

so no one gets car sick just riding in a car, not drifting or even fast, just normal driving conditions?
