comic artist, did you have pretty bad spring binding and memory steer with your current or old pbm's? Mine is pretty bad if I have to turn like 90 degrees slowly and then straighten. I've put 10k miles on my pbm's but I guess the pillow ball is still just too stiff. I'll be putting a roller style bearing on both ends of the spring to resolve this but just wondering. pbm told me it would go away with some driving but I daily it and turn quite a lot and its still just as bad as when I first installed.
mmm no not really. My preload is pretty soft but there's still tension on the spring whenever the weight is taken off the suspension, but it's still not too tight. Of course, I'm still at stock angle, but I'm about to drop money on Abercrombie's new setup and we'll see how it feels then.

I'm at stock angle too and my preload was set myself at 0, tension still on springs when no load but just barely. I didn't remove collars either. idk then, must just be mine. I'm not even super low, just sort of low. I think that my rocker is like 6" off the ground so frame is like 5", I never measured though.

Running bn aero. 18x9 -1 up front. car's sideskirts are sitting about a little under a centimeter from the ground daily driven... with super steering angle knuckles, shine auto foresight fender reps, mazdatrix steering spacers and no rubbing issues. get a sledgehammer and get to work. no rubbing anywhere from lock-lock. took a while to figure it out. just use spraypaint if you dont care about the under carriage and see where it's rubbing off and hammer it.

best advice i've got all year.. banged it out for 45 minutes and got rid off all rubbing hahaha. besides the fender its self, and that is about to hit the dumpster pretty soon anyways.
