Nice car gary. Is the FDC events still active cause there site seems to be outdated . I thought I heard something about an event here in gainesville i would like to check it out but cant find any info.

i'm working on a hard top for the vert truck, but not positive how to go about it.. have some pretty good ideas for it though. lets see what you got gary!!

 

Its not a full cage just a roll bar but this is the closest i have ever seen to working top with cage. Its a 240 roll bar modified for a rx7. I don't see why you couldn't have one made that allows the top to work. Let me know what your results are btw if you have one made cas i need one too.

 

well if you take the targa part out, it wouldnt be hard with a conventional bar.... BUT.... the rear bars wouldnt let the roof go completely down, because the window part would sit on the bars, and probably mess it all up.

i will check it all out and see very soon.

 

i have this plan worked out in my head on how im going to 'create' a FC coupe. like a 240 coupe, just 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 time cooler. i havnt spoken much about this, but im pretty sure no one knows what going on in my head....

PS_ GARYS CAGE WAS CUT OUT OF HIS HATCH, looks ok, could be better, FULL cage with functional top is sooooo possible.

project car I just got running !
s4 NA Street ported rebuilt motor. So far 76 miles into break in. It seems to pull stronger than a dual cam ka.
The 17x9.5s with 255s feel doesnt feel heavy at all.

The black fc is for sale on zilvia. If I sell it I could get haltech,injectors, bigger turbo for the gold car, and have enough left over for a another project car to rebuild and sell or dd.

but man Ive been getting really attached to the black fc. Its such a nice daily driver. Has full interior, and power windows The na motor I built and started last week runs really well, doesnt overheat, doesnt eat as much gas as a t2, and its alot faster than stock s5 na. After it breaks in, Il take it to the dyno and Im hoping for 170whp..

The engine has large street port, ported t2 housings, rotary aviation oring kit, all new oem springs,new rotor bearings, new stationary gear bearings, 93+ corner springs, oem 2 piece apex seals, racing beat race headers , racing beat exhaust, jacobs rotary ignition pack, msd coils,new injector clips, black magic efan, t2 secondary injectors, na primarys, deleted emissions, no rats nest,omp blocked, damn I cant remember everything lol.

I'm curious too, I'm thinking of porting my FC. Just a mild street port probably.

It's a ported NA with oversized secondary injectors and no way to control them, he'd be lucky to land just around 170 at the wheels.
