The OFFICIAL post pics of your Drift Car thread:
candy purple... damn i heard theres alot of wet sanding going on. i like how the paint flip flops from with red and violet pearls and purple candy. i just painted my car but im going with a new color when i get kitted. im going with a bad *** pearl violet witha lighter purple top and mad lowrider flakes... i would need a huge tip for the flakes though
Here's my s13 silvia almost done, just need to finish a few wire splices and minor stuff.

Here's the fc3s side project, just needs paint/body-kit/rims. Yeah I know...the Mustang rims are gross...

I went LS2 for my FC 400hp/400tq stock and I'm modding it. Should put 440 or so to the wheels... that should be fast.
I also have to disagree with you about boosting a LS series engine... why the hell would you do that after swapping it in? maybe 1/4 mile OK -but NOT for drifting... you have a platform that can make well over 500hp NA, gobbs of torque down low and reliable with simple mods. If your going to run boost just go RB, 1J, 2J or something along those lines, not LSx.
we got a guy over here in phoenix with a 700hp\torque FC. it has a ls6 with a huge turbonetics turbo\ methanol injection. it would drift great considering it burns out third gear from a dead stop... and will spin tires in 4th at 120+mph
Sometimes I think you just say things that you have no idea about. I mean not trying to be a dick, I like your style for the most part and all the **** you do to your fc.
But a statement like this is just bogus. LS engines are very fast. I own one. I'd know.

Solid magnesium isn't going to light on fire, machining shavings will however, ask me how I know. But seriously, a solid piece of magnesium would take soooo much energy to combust that it could never happen by dragging it. It will however produce some very very white sparks.
On a side note, bikers and scooter people do this **** all the time, either titanium or magnesium.

I bmx. I've gone down some rough *** ledges either doing a pedal grind on mag pedals (magnesium is lighter than aluminum) or ti pegs (ti pegs are again, lighter than thick *** chromoly tubes). Bright sparks but no fire........
I dont think it would hurt to strap a block of that **** to your subframe...... However, track officials would probably be pissed that your cutting unnecessary grooves in their track.
